Preparing Quark Balls in the Air Fryer
Ingredients for approx. 16 quark balls
445g baking mix
80g sugar-cinnamon mixture
100g whole egg (approx. 2 medium eggs)*
250g quark*
30ml neutral cooking oil*
40g melted butter*

Line the air fryer with a suitable piece of baking paper. Place the baking mix, whole egg, and quark into a bowl. Using an electric hand mixer or a stand mixer, mix everything on a low setting first, then beat on the highest setting for approx. 3 minutes. Rub a little oil onto your hands and shape the dough into approx. 16 small balls. Place the balls in the air fryer, leaving some space between them, and bake at approx. 170°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
Brush the warm quark balls with the melted butter and roll them immediately in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
