You can buy fondant sheets in a wide variety of colors online from us. This includes a beautiful, radiant white that’s perfect as a base for a wedding cake. When you buy our pre-rolled fondant, you’ll receive a sheet that’s 36 cm in diameter and weighs 430 grams. You can use it to cover a cake that’s 15 to 20 cm in diameter and 10 cm tall, or a cake that’s 20 to 25 cm in diameter and 7.5 cm tall.
Using Pre-Rolled Fondant
Until ready to use, store the rolled-out fondant for cakes and tarts in a dry, cool place at 15 to 20 °C. On the day you’re ready to cover the cake, prepare it as usual and finish by spreading a thin layer of buttercream over it. Remove the rolled-out fondant from the packaging and unroll it. Smooth out the fondant by gently pulling on the plastic wrap from all sides. Then place the rolled-out fondant, with the plastic wrap facing up, onto the cake, remove the plastic wrap, and smooth the fondant with a smoother. This gives cakes and tarts a beautiful finish. Finally, trim off any excess fondant. Now you can finish decorating the cake however you like.
