Stencils with Motifs and Tattoos
In our “Motifs” section, you will find motif stencils that are ideal for decorating the top tier of a cake or round cakes with a smooth surface. The range includes stencils featuring butterflies, roses, animals and abstract shapes. The designs are deliberately simple, making them easy to fill with cocoa, icing sugar or sweet snow, sprays and similar products. Our “Tattoos” section contains tattoo stencils with more intricate details. You will also find versions designed especially for decorating the sides of cakes.
Using Motif and Tattoo Stencils
Decorating stencils are very easy to use. Select the stencil you want and first make sure that it is clean so that no spots of colour or other marks are transferred to the cake or other surface. Next, position the stencil on the surface. A stencil for the side of a cake should be secured with two elastic bands. Apply cocoa powder, icing sugar, pearl spray or velvet food colour spray evenly; the sprays are particularly suitable for cake sides. Alternatively, paint the motif with a brush and food colouring. Carefully lift the stencil upwards or away from the side, then wash it immediately if possible. Your beautiful motif is complete.
Tuile Stencils for Delicate Biscuits
Our online shop also offers tuile stencils for making delicate tuile biscuits. Prepare a suitable batter and spread it into the stencil. Once the stencil has been removed, bake the shapes, such as flowers, and immediately place them over or inside a rounded object, for example a small bowl, so that they cool in a curved form. This creates small shells that can be filled with ice cream or creams. You can also use the tuiles as decorations for cakes or desserts. There are virtually no limits to your imagination.
Do you have any questions about decorating stencils for cakes, gateaux or delicate tuile biscuits? We will be very happy to advise you. Our shop also offers a complete range of food colours and other products for filling and using the stencils. Feel free to browse our selection.
