This high-quality glucose syrup is suitable for making chocolates, sugar mixtures, boiled sweets and other confectionery. Made from corn or potato starch, it has a thick, sticky consistency and can be cooked into sweets or pulled into fine sugar threads.
Glucose syrup is a useful base for confectionery, fruit preparations and liqueurs, and is widely used in chocolate making and sugar work. Its sweetness is approximately one third that of beet sugar, helping to moderate recipes that would otherwise taste excessively sweet.
The syrup is vegan, low in fructose, gluten-free and lactose-free.
