Baking mix for fluffy cinnamon rolls. They are a winter pastry that belongs on every coffee table. The airy pastry rolls with aromatic cinnamon and a sweet icing are easy to make at home with this set. You get 386g baking mix, 14g dry yeast, 100g Remonce cinnamon filling and 150g frosting mix.
You also need 150ml water (26°C), 25g whole egg, 30g softened butter, 60g cream cheese (for the frosting) and a little fat or baking spray for the mold
For the dough, put all the flour and yeast in a bowl and mix. Add the water, softened butter and egg and knead everything in a food processor or with a hand mixer, first slowly for 3 minutes and then generously for 5 minutes. Gather the dough into a ball and bake for 25 minutes. Cover and leave to rest.
After the resting time, roll out the dough into a rectangle (approx. 45cm x 25cm) and spread thinly with the Remonce cinnamon filling. Then cut the rectangle into strips approx. 3.5cm in size. Roll up the strips of dough lengthways and place in a greased baking dish (approx. 30x20cm). Cover and leave to rise for approx. 60 minutes until the cinnamon rolls have noticeably increased in volume.
Then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for 5 minutes, then reduce to 190°C and bake for approx. 15 minutes. <
For the frosting, stir the mix together with the cream cheese until smooth and spread with a brush on the lukewarm cinnamon rolls.
