Instructions
Creative Biscuit Workshop
Ingredients for approx. 25 biscuits
330g flour*
5g baking powder*
140g sugar*
1 pinch of salt*
180g room-temperature butter*
50g whole egg, approx. 1 medium egg*
For decoration:
PREMIUM PLUS roll fondant in white, pastel yellow and mint green
Edible glue
Edible colouring pens in red, blue and black
*These ingredients are required separately.
Place all ingredients in a bowl and use an electric hand mixer or food processor to make a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave it to rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. After chilling, knead it briefly, roll it out thinly on a lightly floured work surface and cut out the required shapes. Glasses in different sizes are ideal for cutting circles. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C conventional heat for approx. 10 minutes until golden brown, then leave to cool.
Knead the roll fondant until soft and pliable. Dust the work surface lightly with icing sugar, roll out the fondant thinly and cut out the required shapes. Attach each fondant decoration to the matching biscuit with edible glue. Leave the decorated biscuits to dry for 24 hours, then draw on them with the edible colouring pens. The surface must be free from icing sugar and any traces of fat.
