Red Velvet cake baking mix, 1 kg
This 1 kg baking mix produces a classic American Red Velvet cake with an intense red colour, a velvety texture and a mild cocoa note. You need only water, eggs, vegetable oil and butter. Once baked, split the cake and fill it with a cake cream of your choice, such as Fluffy Icing Cream.
Preparation (Contents sufficient for two 26 cm diameter cakes)
Add 85 g softened butter, 9 medium eggs or 460 g egg, 83 g vegetable oil and 223 g water to the full 1 kg pack. Mix briefly on low speed, then beat on high for 3 minutes. Transfer to a 26 cm springform tin or another baking tin and bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees C conventional heat.
