Bring the festive taste straight home with our unique speculatius baking mix! Immerse yourself in the delicious world of aromas and spices that bring back memories of contemplative winter evenings. With just a few common household ingredients, you can conjure up traditional, crispy cookies in no time at all that will delight your family and friends.

Our baking mix offers you the perfect spice composition: a harmonious interplay of spices such as cinnamon, anise and nutmeg.

The simple preparation is also ideal for beginners - in just a few steps you can make the perfect speculatius. Whether as Christmas biscuits, with coffee or as a sweet gift - the possibilities are endless! Create unforgettable moments when baking - with love, joy and the unmistakable taste of speculatius!

You also need: 100g butter (cold), 10g egg yolk, 60-70ml milk

Knead the baking mix into a dough by adding butter, milk and egg yolk and place in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Then roll out the chilled dough with a rolling pin to 4mm and emboss patterns into it with a speculoos roller or a rolling pin. For optimal results, the shortcrust pastry must be really cold and firm. Then use the wavy side of the dough cutter to cut the dough sheet into pieces of any size and place them on the baking tray lined with baking paper. Then put the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake the speculatius at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 10-15 minutes. After baking, take the speculatius out of the oven, place them on a wire rack and let them cool.

May contain traces of EGGS, SOY, SESAME SEEDS, MUSTARD, CELERY and LUPINS.
