Traditional vanilla croissants for your enjoyable Christmas season. With our baking mix, these are quick and easy to prepare.
Preparation: Vanilla croissants
(Package contents: 350g baking mix); You will also need: 150g soft butter, 1 egg yolk, flour for rolling out, icing sugar for dusting
Place the baking mix, butter and egg yolk in a bowl and work into coarse crumbles using an electric hand mixer or food processor. Work into a smooth dough with your hands, wrap in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour. After the refrigeration period, knead again briefly. On a floured work surface, shape into 1cm thick rolls, cut off approx. 5cm long pieces and shape them into small crescents. Place the crescents on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 10 minutes. Allow the vanilla crescents to cool and then dust with icing sugar.
