Cake Cards and Accessories for Tiered Cakes
A tiered cake requires a cake board and preferably cake cards together with cake supports or dowels. These components allow a cake to be stacked without a tiered stand. Cake cards are made from strong card and support the individual tiers. A grease-resistant paper coating prevents them from becoming soft. Cake supports or dowels are also needed to keep each tier stable and carry the weight of the tier above.
