Food Colouring Pastes for Fondant & Baking
Highly concentrated paste food colours for intense & precise colour results
Paste food colours are true all-round colours in professional quality. Just the tip of a knife is enough to colour rolled fondant, marzipan, decorative pastes, cream, fillings, sauces and much more intensely. As shown in the product images, a wide range of colour shades can be achieved depending on the mixing ratio – from delicate pastel tones to bold, rich colours. The creamy consistency allows for even application without changing the texture of the mixture.

Uses for Food Colouring Pastes
Paste colours are particularly suitable for colouring rolled fondant, marzipan and flower paste. They can of course also be used to colour buttercream or dessert creams, icing, whipped cream and other mixtures. Unlike liquid colours, for example, paste colours do not alter the consistency of the food to which they are added. When diluted with alcohol, they can also be used for painting, allowing you to decorate a fondant covering beautifully.
How to Use Paste Colours
To achieve a particular shade, it is best to begin with a small amount. Gradually work in more paste if you would like to intensify the colour. Different colours can also be mixed according to colour theory to create your own individual shades. We recommend wearing gloves when working with colouring paste, as it is highly pigmented and may stain your hands.
You can buy food colouring paste from our shop in convenient, great-value colour sets. This gives you a colourful selection at home that is always ready when needed. Individual colours are of course also available, including distinctive shades such as sunset orange, apricot and chestnut brown.
