With this sugar artistic set mini you will receive all materials needed for starting artfully working with sugar. You will obtain a silk rack with wooden frame, a sugar lamp with 250W infrared bulb, a sugar thermometer, a Silicone baking mat, 20kg isomalt, ice spray, shining spray, spirit burner, sugar pump, 11 different liquid food colours and food colour powder white.
The silk rack is made by the Swiss sugar artistic duo Louise and Othmar Fassbind.
The custom-made rack consists of a handmade wooden frame and a silk cover. This black silk has an optimal thermal conductivity. In combination of the modified heat lamp and the 250W infrared bulb it is possible to heat the sugar fast and evenly, in order to get a soft and smooth consistency of the sugar. You can heat several, different coloures sugar masses on the silk rack at the same time.
