Genuine, edible flowers
The manufacturing of crystallised, edible flowers is, even today, a traditional handcraft which requires experience as well as a sensitive handling with the raw material. The sweet, filigree flowers and leaves are almost too good to eat.
After the harvest they are manually sorted, stipes are removed, afterwards the flowers are washed and dried. During the first candy process the flowers are dipped in sugar syrup and are dredged with finest sugar powder; thus they are crusted. The dried flower survives, while keeping it cool and dry, for years.
The green leaves, petals and flowers give your cake, ice or dessert a refined and exclusive look. Because of the sugar crystals the sugared flora gleams spectactularly. It is a natural product. Therefore different sizes and broken bits are possible.

Ich verwende diese kandierten Blätter für einen Violet Drink (Champagner, Creme de Violette und ein kandiertes Veilchenblatt. Ich habe drei Firmen ausprobiert aber diese sind die Gewinner, denn sie sind feiner, dunkler und geben mehr Geschmack ab. Sehr empfehlenswert.
